How to make your hair grow back?

Hair loss affects around 50% of men by the age of 35. It’s common for guys to lose hair at their temples, crown and behind the ears – but it doesn’t have to be permanent. A hair transplant is a great way to get your confidence back, as well as a more natural look. But what are the different types of hair transplants? There are three main types: micrografts, FUE (follicular unit extraction) and mega grafts. Which one is right for you? Here’s everything you need to know about men’s hair transplants.

This is the oldest type of hair transplant and is still widely used in the UK today. A strip of skin with hair is removed from the back of the head and then moved to the balding areas. A micrograft hair transplant is ideal for guys with a small area of hair loss. If you’ve got a large bald patch, you may want to opt for a different type of hair transplant. Micrografts are a great option if your hair loss is caused by stress (telogen effluvium), taking a course of steroids or is as a result of your genetics. This type of hair transplant is also a good choice if you’re looking to cover a scar or other type of head trauma.

This type of hair transplant is one of the most popular methods and is the most modern way of achieving a more natural look with a great end result. It’s a meticulous procedure that requires skill and precision. The FUE procedure works by removing tiny, individual hair grafts from the back and sides of your head. These are then transplanted in the areas of your scalp that are experiencing hair loss. A FUE hair transplant is great if you’ve got a large area of hair loss. It’s also good for men with fine or thinning hair, as the individual grafts are larger than with a micrograft hair transplant. A FUE hair transplant ….

This type of hair transplant is a lot less common than a micrograft hair transplant or FUE hair transplant. As the name suggests, it’s a surgical procedure that involves removing large strips of hair-bearing skin from the back of the head. These are then placed on the balding areas of the scalp. A mega graft hair transplant is ideal if you’ve got a large area of hair loss. It’s particularly good for men who are experiencing male pattern baldness and have begun to go bald across their entire scalp. Although the mega graft hair transplant is the most dramatic of the three procedures, it’s far less common…….

A hair transplant will make your hair grow back in two ways. Firstly, the transplanted hair will grow naturally. Secondly, the hair that remains on your head will be stimulated by the balding area. Hair transplants are known as a ‘restorative’ procedure because they make hair grow on areas of the scalp that are currently bald. This is different to a ‘restorative’ surgery, which is a surgery that’s performed on someone who is completely bald and makes them grow their hair back. A hair transplant will not make your hair grow back if you’ve already lost it. It will only make it grow back if it’s currently growing and/or if you’ve got a normal amount of hair on your head.

There are three main types of hair transplants:

  • micrograft hair transplant,
  • FUE (follicular unit extraction) and
  • mega graft extraction.
